Raw food revolution on sunrise

Raw Food Revolution Hijacked.

It was encouraging to see the Raw Food Revolution featured on Australia’s Sunrise program this morning, but the outcome was disappointing.

Featuring the Sydney cafe Earth to Plate, the recorded segment featured the multitude of mouth watering foods available to Raw Foodists, along with a brief and balanced interview with one man who had turned his life around on a Raw Food diet.

Over a period of 5 years he had reduced his weight from 140 kg to 70 odd, and had overcome a serious cancer through his diet. Whilst such stories might not be well known to the public at large, they are a regular experience in the Raw Food community.

David Kosh knows nothing of The Raw Food Revolution

The segment then went live to an interview with international Raw Food leader David Wolfe, and unfortunately went completely off the rails.

Interviewer David Koch, who obviously has no understanding of the subject, was taken off on a tangent by Wolfe, into an underwhelming discussion of likelihood that mankind originated as caveman, and a similarly ill based conversation of our possible Origins as Apes.

When David Wolfe attempted to bring the conversation back on track by discussing the benefits of raw green smoothies for breakfast, Kosh again derailed the interview fixated on the fact that for him Cucumber and Celery tasted terrible, and unfortunately like too many members of the public that is where the conversation on Raw Food benefits ended.

There can be few if any breakfasts that are easier to make, or better for you than a Raw Food Green Smoothie.

Any Flavour you want!

As for taste, that is entirely in the hands of the creator, add whatever fresh fruits, spices or natural flavours you like, along with all the greens you need each day (but in most cases never eat), and after a few minutes in a blender Breakfast is done.

We have an instructional video on making green smoothies…

and nutritionally balanced recipes available both in our Raw Food cookbook, Kind Living Kitchen, and through our program, Living Raw Food Made Easy.

Be proactive, and please don’t let this very ordinary television segment steer you away from a healthier life centred in whole or part around a Raw Food diet.
