Smoked BBQ King Oyster Mushroom

Ingredients
- 170 g/6 oz King Oyster Mushroom, washed and dried
- 4 Dates
- 3 Garlic, cloves
- 4 Tomatoes, dried
- 3 Tomatoes, vine ripe
- 2.5 cm/1 in Ginger, root
- ½ Sweet Onion
- 1 TBSP Clove, ground
- 1 TBSP Paprika, smoked
- 1 TBSP Chili Powder, ground
- 1 TBSP 24 Herbs & Spices Seasoning (Bragg Organic Sprinkle)
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- Pinch of Sea Salt, smoked
Instructions
- To make BBQ sauce, combine all ingredients except mushrooms in blender for 1 minute until smooth.
- Pour BBQ sauce over the mushrooms and let marinate for at least one hour.
- Carefully push mushrooms onto skewers.
- Sprinkle with smoked sea salt (optional).

Tip: This dish can also be warmed in the dehydrator for 6 hours on 40°C (104°F).[br][br]
What makes this dish so special is the smoked BBQ sauce. The dates in the recipe makes it sweet, while the seasoning makes it savory.
